First Impression Review
A fast, cost-effective website review when time is of the essence.
Part usability test, part expert review, I will visit your website and give you my initial impressions and recommendations on what is working well and what could be improved.
I will focus on:
- ease-of-use and clarity of the website’s navigation
- placement and quality of calls to action (i.e., the actions you prompt your customers to take, such as "checkout", "sign up for our newsletter", "download our app")
- user experience (i.e., how well the website considers users' expectations and the tasks you are asking them to perform)
- effectiveness of content and layout
What do you get?
I will provide you with a 20 minute video of my “live” impressions as I make my way through your website, and a summary report outlining my recommendations.
How can a First Impression Review help?
Catch usability problems
It takes only seconds for your website to make an impression on your users, so you want that first impression to be a good one.
By asking me to look at your website, you will get a good picture of how easy your website is to use and where the trouble spots are.

A first impression review is the perfect fit when you are looking for a quick website health report, or to be pointed in the right direction to improve your website.
Benchmark Review
Measure your website's performance over time, or compare your website to your competitors.
This type of review involves scoring your website against specific criteria in order to identify areas of strength and those needing improvement.
How a benchmark review works
- We will discuss your business's goals regarding your website, and establish the set of criteria I will use to evaluate your website.
- I will conduct the review and supply you with a detailed report that outlines how your website performed against each criterion, and provides recommendations for addressing weak points.
- We will go over the report together so that I can address any questions you may have, and so that you are equipped to start improving your website.
Deep Dive Review
A comprehensive audit of the health and efficacy of your website.
This is a full spectrum analysis of your website, following an agreed upon set of factors. The report identifies and prioritizes issues to resolve, and provides recommendations for addressing them. Included in the report is a roadmap outlining the work you should carry out to improve the website.
